I designed the frontend UI/UX of the SnapBox website and continue to maintain the site. Backend development, including advanced ecommerce functionality for photo products ordering, is handled by a 3rd party company contracted by SnapBox. All creative assets on the site are also created by me or under my direction. Copy is written in conjunction with key stakeholders at SnapBox. The website is built on the Wordpress CMS and was designed with modern responsive principles in mind.

JONDO Website

JONDO Explainer Video

For this company explainer video for JONDO, I served as project manager from beginning to end.

To start, I pitched the idea to my CEO at JONDO and then found potential creative agencies to work with. From this list, we found an agency out of Chicago whose existing portfolio matched what we sought.

As project manager, I served as the point person between our CEO, Senior Vice President, and the creative agency. My role as the creative force on the JONDO side was to always make sure the agency well represented our brand and message. The agency would deliver assets for review at each step of the process. I would then review with my executives and then relay our edits back to the agency.

I began by sending over an illustrated figure that is often used as part of the JONDO branding. The creative agency took this figure and expanded upon the style, making careful use of the JONDO colors. Storyboards were delivered next, then audio recordings, then initial animations before finally arriving at a version of the animation with final narration and sound design that JONDO was happy with.

JONDO API Dashboard

This is an API Dashboard for JONDO that allows customers to initiate the API process as well as manage their orders once connected.

I worked with the development team at JONDO on this project. They supplied me with basic wireframes to show screens and user flow needed. It was my responsibility to take these wireframes and create hi-fidelity screens following the JONDO style guide to keep the overall look and feel in line with other JONDO web properties.

A card based design made perfect sense for the overall UX as it allows the development team to add additional content blocks to the platform as needed. Adding a completion counter to the API process prevents it from feeling overwhelming as users are better able to understand their steps to completion.

Wedding Highlights: Daisy & Rodney

Walnut Grove made for such a beautiful outdoor space for Daisy & Rodney’s wedding. It was the perfect setting for a late summer event down to the rustic details and string lights. The icing on the cake of all this were Daisy & Rodney’s touching vows that just really complete their wedding highlights.

Same Day Edit: Marie & Brent

I wrapped up 2018 weddings with a same day edit up in Monterey, CA for Marie & Brent’s big day. At first, things were looking grim as rain was expected for some major parts of the day. But just right before we departed to shoot portraits in the late afternoon, the skies cleared, and nature provided us with the beautiful shots you see toward the end of the video. +1 to nature for coming through for us at the very last minute.

Same Day Edit: Hoi & Vu

Everything about Hoi & Vu’s wedding was just perfection. From their immaculately decorated and brightly lit home that made for wonderful prep shots to the lush greens of their portraits location at Ranchos Los Alamitos to the always beautiful reception venue at The Villa and of course to their easygoing and naturally camera perfect poses and interactions, things couldn’t have been easier for us as we put together this same day edit for them.

8 Kinds of Smiles Customer Journey Map

This is a customer journey map I created for 8 Kinds of Smiles. It details the journey of an average couple from booking all the way through final product delivery. Time between initial contact and the wedding day varies greatly from couple to couple, but the average amount of time from wedding day to final product delivery is 3-6 months.

I opt for use of colors in this journey map to represent negative and positive touch point areas. At a glance, various negative touch points in the process can be identified as areas for improvement.

JONDO Network Dashboard

This is an internal management software for JONDO that allows the company to communicate across its own employees as well as with business customers. When I came onto the project, a few rough wireframes had been developed for just the main dashboard.

My role was to take these wireframes and turn them into high fidelity designs that were then passed onto development. In doing so, I developed all of the UI elements on which the site would be based and created enough screens to thoroughly capture the experience of the dashboard.
